As we go through our high school journey there is a lot of information, applications and deadlines to navigate. This is where One8 Sports Earn Your Way Collegiate Prep Course comes in. We have compiled the information needed all in one place for our clients. Delivered in a detailed, comprehensive and scheduled manner, each of our clients will benefit immensely from the information available.
Starting as a Grade 9/Freshman in high school, we will guide you through all of the steps necessary to secure your post secondary pursuits. Each year through high school contains different tasks and the timing of completion can be key. Our dedicated coaches will help with each step along the way, making certain that you are aware of and have all the information needed.
There are no short cuts in the college recruiting process. Our coaches will be busy working for you.

College athletic recruiting, especially at the D1 and D2 level, is extremely competitive. Out of the millions of high school varsity athletes across North America, only a small percentage make the cut and go on to compete in college. We believe that the amount of knowledge student-athletes and their parents acquire about each step is paramount, we want to make certain that you can navigate all of the ins and outs of the process with confidence.
Throughout this course we will cover many topics including Applications & Deadlines, Recruiting Rules, SAT & ACT, USA Visa requirements and many many more. You will have a dedicated coach to facilitate the building of your target list of schools, at the same time as helping with intricacies like checking college team websites for rosters to see which programs are losing a big class of graduating seniors or have a lack of depth at the position you play. When you put in the dedicated work, the results will be more beneficial.
While other athletes are on vacation or thinking they will “do it later” you will be getting an important piece of the process completed. We will be sure to ensure time spent is streamlined and always with purpose.
Your player profile will be a key component in the recruiting process, especially for Canadian players. As we aren’t able to have the benefit of having college coaches close by in our cities, your videos are important. Our coaches will use proven methods and feedback from college coaches to ensure that your video highlights your skills and shows the coaches what they want to see.
Creating multiple recruiting videos throughout your high school years will make sure college coaches are watching you progress and build upon your abilities. While providing your highlight video to your target schools coaches as a direct email attachment, online recruiting platforms and housing it and on our One8 Sports Baseball social media and YouTube channel to boost views and gain exposure, we will work with you to find your fit. We will always make sure to highlight your best assets with a focus on the fundamental skills specific to your position.
